Philippe Bone: Georgia Stands Out in the Region for Its Stability, High Economic Growth, and Most Importantly, the Growing Dynamics of Investments in the Tourism Sector
We have already made several large investments in Georgia, and we are also planning to open 15 facilities that are currently in the design or construction phases. We believe that Georgia has the best business environment, which influenced our decision to invest – it stands out in the region for its stability, high economic growth, and, most importantly, the growing dynamics of investments in the tourism sector,” said Philippe Bon, Regional Vice President of Development at Accor, who attended the capsule-laying ceremony for the construction of the branded hotel and residences under the five-star brand Pullman, part of the Accor group, in Tsikhisdziri, Adjara region.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Philippe Bon noted that the inflow of foreign investments into Georgia's tourism sector is supported by the government's consistent and successful policies, which aim to diversify tourist markets and facilitate the creation of both existing and new tourist attraction centers.
“It was also a great discovery for us to find such a wonderful recreational place near Batumi, where the mountain and sea air blend so organically. It is the ideal place for relaxation, and I am pleased that we have the opportunity to participate in such an exceptional project.
Georgia is a strategic partner of the Accor group. We believe that the projects we will implement in your country in the future will be successful and will contribute to promoting your country and increasing its recognition in important tourist markets in Europe, America, and beyond.
Accor is the largest representative of the hospitality sector in Europe, and we are pleased to be your country's partners, especially in the development of premium-class tourism,” emphasized Philippe Bon, whose statement was released by the ministry's press service.
